Pendulum Period

For small swings the period is T = 2π√(L ÷ g). For larger amplitudes θ₀ the period grows: T ≈ T₀(1 + θ₀²/16 + 11θ₀⁴/3072). A pendulum about 0.994 m long on Earth has a period of 2 s.
